This year, the great German reportage photographer Walter Vogel has been inducted into the Leica Hall of Fame for his life’s work. See a selection of his most famous pictures in this issue. Another Leica Classic is celebrated in the current issue: We take a look at Herlinde Koelbl’s work on the occasion of her 80th birthday.
In addition: a black-and-white report by Carmignac Award-winner Tommaso Protti on the conflicts in the Brazilian Amazon region, a journey to eight of China’s high-tech megacities and a photographic meditation on the relationship between humanity and landscape.
The technical part of this issue focuses on the new Leica SL2. In addition, an overview of the latest special editions from Leica and the second part of our talk with Stefan Daniel, Head of Product Management at Leica.
My aim was to formulate a visual metaphor for our common future.
